Reinforcing transparency and integrity as Vietnam’s real estate market enters a new phase of selective growth

HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam – HLB Thailand, as part of the global HLB network, proudly supported the official launch of the 12th PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards, reinforcing its role as the independent supervisor of the awards programme.

The launch event, held at the Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon, welcomed industry leaders, developers, and past award recipients for an exclusive preview of the 2026 edition. The event provided insights into Vietnam’s evolving property market, highlighting a shift towards stabilisation, selective demand, and long-term value creation.

Supporting a trusted and transparent awards process

As the official supervisor, HLB plays a vital role in ensuring that the judging process is conducted with the highest levels of fairness, independence, and transparency. This oversight underpins the credibility of the awards, ensuring that recognition is based on merit and aligned with international best practices.

The PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards, part of the wider PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards, continues to be recognised as one of the most respected platforms for celebrating excellence in real estate across the region.

Market outlook: a shift towards quality and resilience

Insights shared during the launch highlighted that Vietnam’s property market is entering a period of adjustment in 2026. While pricing in certain segments has moderated and buyer sentiment remains cautious amid macroeconomic pressures, demand for quality housing—particularly from end-users—continues to show resilience.

This transition signals a broader shift away from speculative activity towards sustainable, needs-driven development, reinforcing the importance of recognising projects that deliver long-term value.
